President Donald J. Trump returned to the social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, on Monday.
Beginning in the morning, Trump posted many new campaign ads targeting the Kamala/Walz campaign to his over 89 million followers. In the evening, Trump made history by joining a livestream with X CEO Elon Musk, where they talked for over two hours, completely unscripted, about Trump’s vision for America and the current threat posed by the radical left.
With over 1.2 million concurrent viewers throughout the stream, and as of Tuesday at 2:40 PM, over a billion impressions on the platform, Trump and Musk conducted the most-viewed live interview of all time.
Leftist users, furious at the prospect of even listening to the Republican presidential nominee, committed to a #TwitterBlackout, in which they would cease using the app after 8 PM when the livestream was scheduled to begin. Of course, this maneuver, which actually trended at #1 on the platform throughout the day, did little to combat the livestream’s massive influence and audience.
The livestream, which was delayed by about 45 minutes to an hour due to a DDoS attack on the platform, was preemptively met with fierce hostility from the mainstream media and even foreign government operatives. In a White House press briefing shortly before the livestream, a Washington Post “journalist” asked Karine Jean-Pierre if the White House would do anything to “stop” or “intervene in” the interview in an effort to “combat disinformation.”
Gee-whiz, thank goodness we don’t live in a country like Russia with state-sponsored media! We still have a semblance of REAL journalism here in the U.S. of A!
Thierry Breton, a French Commissioner for the European Union, additionally penned a warning letter to Elon Musk, informing him of the concern faced by the planned livestream. In a long-winded and passive-aggressive threat, Musk was warned of intense scrutiny that would be faced to ensure cooperation with the Digital Services Act, an EU statute that regulates internet platforms. This comes in light of the current situation in the U.K., where citizens are being arrested en masse for reposting wrong-think on X.
In the over two hours long discussion, Trump and Musk discussed a wide range of topics pertinent to the current state of America, the upcoming election, and Trump’s opponent, Kamala Harris. Beginning with a chat regarding the recent assassination attempt on President Trump, they moved to the issue of mass immigration, followed by inflation, climate change, the war in Ukraine, crime, and many others in between. Trump was allotted the opportunity to summarize his positions, viewpoints, and policy goals toward the end of the discussion.
Some highlights include Trump’s accosting of his former rival, Joe Biden, whose possession of an IQ was questioned by Trump. Additionally, Trump called for the elimination of the Federal Department of Education and the return of schooling regulation to state governments, an announcement that shocked even many Republicans. Musk himself proposed the creation of a “Government Efficiency Commission,” which would oversee and curb wasteful government spending in an effort to combat inflation. President Trump was in full support. (Uh oh… more government in order to shrink government?)
Illegal immigration was perhaps the most impactful section of the discussion, with Trump emphasizing the responsibility that Kamala Harris bears for the current crisis at the Southern border. Trump stated, “She was called the Border Czar, and she never even went there!” He also warned that should Kamala Harris win the presidency, 50-60 million more illegal immigrants would flood into the country, and the United States would be permanently lost.
Radical leftists have been in shambles following this historic X livestream. Specifically, the mainstream media has been seething over their loss of influence over the American political system, with alternative media and free speech platforms like X gaining more and more influence by the day. Their degree of bias has been exposed like never before by their response to the livestream, which largely consists of insulting and slandering Trump while blatantly calling for censorship and suppression of him and his supporters.
The Kamala/Walz campaign’s X account, KamalaHQ (formerly BidenHQ), released a statement that was of a particularly indignant and resentful nature. In a couple of paragraphs, the vitriolic and miserable interns who write all of Kamala’s posts denounced the “dangerous, self-obsessed extremism” supposedly present in the livestream. Their tonality and diction, reeking of the common middle-school level immaturity of Kamala’s team and supporters, reveal the inherent chaos and panic within the campaign.
President Trump continues to prove his resilience, capability, and strength at a time when his opponent refuses to conduct any interviews or unscripted public appearances. It has been nearly a month since Kamala Harris was installed as the Democratic nominee, yet she has not spoken without a teleprompter for more than a few minutes. She’s too cowardly to even interact with mainstream media outlets who are heavily biased in her favor and run continuous puff pieces that paint her as the most accomplished woman in history.
Meanwhile, President Trump and JD Vance have consistently entered hostile territory to get their message out to the American people. Last week, Trump held a press conference at Mar-A-Lago where he was grilled by biased, leftwing news outlets for over an hour. JD Vance attended three Sunday talk shows in the same morning with similarly antagonistic hosts. Trump has now spoken non-stop for two consecutive hours outlining a coherent policy message, and Kamala is busy copying Joe Biden with Basement Campaign 2.0.
The reason for this striking dichotomy is simple. Kamala Harris is one of the most unimpressive politicians in American history, with the verbal IQ of a snowman. As President Trump stated, “She may be even dumber than Biden!” She, along with her campaign staff, knows that the minute she is forced to go off-script and reveal her non-existent linguistic capabilities and outstanding unlikeability, her campaign is finished. In the rare moments throughout her tenure as Vice President where she has spoken off-the-cuff, she thoroughly embarrassed herself and the nation as a whole.
Americans will likely have to wait until the September 10th debate on ABC to get a clear view of the authentic, unscripted Kamala Harris. Being the coward that she is, she is unlikely to agree to the other two debates that Trump proposed, especially if Kamala’s performance is as bad as it was when she squared off against Tulsi Gabbard. Until then, her supporters will have to continue spreading slander and lies against President Trump to keep the campaign afloat.
For now, Trump continues to gain momentum and build a coalition to take down the most dangerously un-American presidential candidate of all time.
