November General Election
Early Voting:  Oct 21 – Nov 1
Election Day:  Nov 5
Click here for a printable flyer with TTP voting recommendations

True Texas Project recommendsvoting Republican on the entire General Election ballot.
In the General Election, every race is between the Democrat and the Republican, and each candidate is clearly indicated by his/her party affiliation.  There may also be a few races with a 3rd party candidate (Green Party, Independent, etc).  We recommend a straight Republican ticket.  We recognize some of the Rs are not really worthy of your vote, but when they vote as a block, we want the R vote over the D vote every time. The time to pick the best R candidate is during the Primary Election, which happened in March.
.
BOND ELECTIONS & PROPOSITIONS
Some locations have bond elections on their ballots.  True Texas Project recommends voting no on all bonds and propositions until local spending and property taxes are brought under control.  ALL BONDS are paid for by your property taxes no matter how the taxing entity phrases it.
.
LOCAL ELECTIONS
Some locations have local elections on their ballots.  For those areas, True Texas Project is gathering recommendations. Please scroll down for lists (and, in some cases, printable flyers).  Check back for updates.

March Primary Election
Early voting:  Feb 20 – Mar 1
Election Day:  Mar 5

SCROLL DOWN TO FIND YOUR COUNTY!
We have over 100 of Texas’s 254 counties listed. We started with the 25 where we have TTP satellites, and we’ve added more as people have requested them.  If your county is not listed, you may email [email protected] to politely ask for it.  We have not deliberately left any county off, so no need to get angry or offended.  We add them as requested and as time allows.  Otherwise, you may want to at least use the list of candidates that are on EVERY Texas GOP ballot, which is the first list provided below.

True Texas Project will never tell you how to vote!  We will, however, provide input for you to add to your own additional research.  Our Board and our local leadership teams work hard to vet candidates.  Then we vote to see which candidate we’d personally pick.  It doesn’t mean we necessarily like the candidate (sometimes we do, but sometimes we have to pick the lesser of all evils).  So a recommendation from True Texas Project really just means that out of the options in front of us, THIS is the person we’d vote for.  When our panel is unanimous in selecting a candidate AND we believe that candidate is highly likely to represent us well and not cave, then we’ll offer an endorsement.  Endorsements are rare. Only contested races are included.
  • For races larger than the county (State Rep, School Board, etc), votes were placed by the 7 members of our TTP Board unless otherwise indicated.
  • For races at the county level and smaller (commissioners, constables, etc) , votes were made by the local TTP leadership teams.
  • For races in counties without a True Texas Project, we relied on local patriots we trust in the area.
  • You may disagree, and that’s ok!  We just want this to be a starting point for your own research.
Lists are divided below by county. For a comprehensive list of most of our choices for big races like US Senate, US House, statewide races, State Board of Education districts, State Senate districts, and State House districts, click here
YES – you CAN take the flyers we created for each county into the polling location.  You cannot use your phone.  The flyers print 2 to a page, so print it and share it!
If you see suspicious activity at the polls or run into any trouble, do NOT leave the polling area until it is resolved!
Call the hotline at 833-TXVOTE3.
Sample resolutions for precinct conventions are here.

Join the True Texas army as we take charge in the 2024 Elections!

Just voting is not enough.  Sitting on the sidelines is no longer an option!

We need all True Texans trained and engaged in Election 2024.
No experience necessary.  There’s work for everyone!
The good news is… we’re here to help.

  • 18 MEETINGS…18 LOCATIONS…EVERY MONTH!
We bring in expert speakers on the hottest topics to get you educated and ready to engage.
Even better, we don’t just listen and go home. All our speakers have action items for YOU to get involved and DO SOMETHING!
  • KEEP IT LOCAL!
    • We’ll share candidate recommendations for ballots all across Texas by February, if not sooner.
    • We’ll have flyers with our voting recommendations, along with walk lists for YOUR Republican neighbors, so you can get out the vote!
    • We are recruiting a Candidate Coordinator for every satellite location to organize candidate interviews, blockwalks, poll workers, and donations.  Is it you?
  • CANDIDATE WEBINAR!
    • What It Takes To Run for Office
    • Managing Campaign Finances
    • Building an Effective Volunteer Base
    • Best Practices Running a Campaign
    • Q&A
    • WATCH A RECORDING HERE.
  • TOWNHALLS!
We like to thank & show appreciation to our favorite Congressmen, but we also must hold them accountable.  Join us!

  • TRAININGS!
At each monthly meeting we will present a brief training session hosted by experts on topics relevant to Taking Charge in Election 2024! After each month we will update this page with a link to watch them online.

  • FORUMS!
“Right vs Right?”  Not debates, but respectful conversations between conservatives to share the facts so you can make and defend your own stances.  Dates & locations TBD – watch for updates!
  • CLEANING HOUSE – TARGETING THE DIRTY DOZEN
    • Watch The Texas Heist, a documentary explaining who the Dirty Dozen are and why we are supporting challengers against them.
    • Do you not live in any of these districts?  Doesn’t matter! We are a statewide organization, and we need to wield our statewide influence! Please do what you can to help.  Did you know the NUMBER of supporters is often as important as the DOLLARS raised?  In other words, even if you can only throw in $5 or $10, it’s helpful!  And everyone can help spread the word.  Like their social media pages and share their posts!TX Court of Criminal Appeals Pl 8 – Lee Finley, 4 Board votes; stay silent, 2 Board votes; Michelle Slaughter, 1 Board vote
14th Court of Appeals, Pl 4 – TBD
