This month at True Texas Project – Tarrant County, we are hosting one of Texas’ youngest and brightest on the political scene. Jake Colglazier has been on the front lines of the fight for liberty from a young age, and is not slowing down any time soon. He is a journalist, a YouTuber, an activist, a writer, and a commentator with an interesting perspective on current events that have been developing in our political and social climate. We can’t wait to hear what he has to say, and we hope you’ll join us!

We are also featuring Amy Wilhite, the executive director of 2ndVote, to talk to us about her organization and the impact that our financial decisions can make.

About Jake Lloyd Colglazier:

A lifelong Texan, Jake Lloyd Colglazier was born and raised in Round Rock. With a sense of civic duty from a young age, Jake enlisted in the US Army at 17, and shortly afterward chose to pursue his longtime interest in politics. He built a successful YouTube channel, documenting the chaos caused by Left-wing terrorists, which lead to a career in conservative media. Since then, he has hosted live radio & TV broadcasts for Infowars, written for sites such as National File, and hosted his own livestream commentary show ‘The Jake Lloyd Show.’ After playing a prominent role in the grassroots Stop the Steal movement during the 2020 election, Jake decided to make a shift toward real political action in his home state of Texas.

2ndVote focuses on educating consumers to make informed decisions that align their dollars with their  values, empowering them to impact corporate/organizational activism. 2ndVote’s mission is to stop  companies and organizations from funding the attack on traditional American values. Your first vote is  cast at the ballot box, hoping to make a difference. Your second vote is in the checkout line. Corporations  use a portion of the money you spend to fund several causes, many of which are harming our families,  our communities, and our future. With 2ndVote, you become an informed consumer who knows how  your money is used after it is spent.
