Williamson County: The Next Generation vs. Wall Street?

July 14 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm CDT

It’s no secret that home prices have steadily increased, and along with that, so have medical expenses, insurance premiums, groceries, and most other cost-of-living necessities. Many young families have multiple full-time incomes, yet they are rarely able to afford a home. How is this possible? Is it true that Wall Street has been buying up residential homes and driving up the prices? If so, how can we put an end to that? Are there other factors at play, or is this simply a matter of these people buying too much Starbucks and avocado toast? Join us as Cole Wyant, the founder and CEO of American VoxPop, digs into these topics for us and helps to clarify some of the specifics. Not only will you leave with a clearer understanding of what is going on, but you’ll have a chance at the end of this meeting to make your voice heard to your elected officials, on the spot! You DON’T want to miss this meeting, and neither do your friends and neighbors, so be sure to invite them. The next generation will carry on the legacy of this nation, if they can’t even afford to live, what will they have to live for or defend?
