Planning to Grow
Rising prices, threatened tariffs, devastating wildfires where much of our produce comes from. Need more reasons to focus on growing our garden production in 2025? The Tarrant County Garden Growers Co-op 2025 kickoff meeting will focus on all the ways we can increase yields with some simple strategies, from planting indeterminate tomatoes and perennials to companion and succession planting. Plus, see how you can jumpstart everything you need long before winter thaws into spring, even if you have small space and only plan to grow in containers. Have extra seeds or seedlings? Feel free to bring them and share.
For newcomers, our Garden Growers Co-op meetings are informal times of sharing, so they’re great opportunities for new and experienced gardeners to get together, learn from each other, make friends and have fun! Our purpose is food freedom—gaining greater independence from corporations for our food. We hope you’ll join us!
When: Saturday, Feb. 1 at 3 p.m.
Where: 7413 Steward Lane, NRH
