Tour a Master Gardener’s Garden
Master Gardener and Master Naturalist Teddi Zonker is graciously offering a tour of her amazing garden. Teddi not only specializes in creating pollinator habitats, but also incorporates Texas native plants throughout her property for their beauty and water conservation principles. Teddi, a passionate butterfly hobbyist for over 20 years, was our guest speaker at the April 5 meeting and explained her plants and techniques to create a suburban pollinators’ paradise. Now we will see exactly how she does it! This is your chance to gain insights on designing with native, drought-tolerant flora and explore the synergy among butterflies, bees, and birds.
For newcomers, our Garden Growers Co-op meetings are informal times of sharing, so they’re great opportunities for new and experienced gardeners to get together, learn from each other, make friends and have fun! Our purpose is food freedom—gaining greater independence from corporations for our food. We hope you’ll join us!
Saturday, June 7 at 3 p.m.
Please RSVP to Diane Velasco [email protected] or by text at 817-683-6372 for Teddi’s location.
