Tarrant County: Organ Harvesting & The Myth of Brain Death

October 12 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm CDT

Are organ donors truly dead before their organs are removed? Is “brain death” a real diagnosis or a made up medical loophole? Do you have yourself marked as an organ donor on your drivers license? Come hear from this speaker to understand why you may want to reconsider that decision. This month at True Texas Project we welcome Julie Grimstad, the VP of the Healthcare Advocacy and Leadership Organization Board of Directors (HALO). She previously worked as a nurse and in the childbirth and conception education world. She now takes up for those who cannot advocate for themselves in medically vulnerable situations. She defends the value and dignity of human life in places that often overlook or disregard this value due to monetary profit and convenience. You, your family, and your friends may save a life after hearing this presentation.
