About Carrie Moore:
I am a Christian, a mother, and a lifelong defender of children who believes God has called me to stand in the gap for Texas families. Adopted at four days old, I grew up understanding the power of strong homes and the responsibility to protect the next generation. That calling led me to start the first Moms for Liberty chapter in Texas and to work alongside parent-led ministries and advocacy groups, like Texas Education 911 and Citizens Defending Freedom, to expose harmful school practices, remove obscene materials from libraries, and champion parental authority. I have worked with groups that stand with parents through the grievance process at school boards across Texas. We have conducted research that led to legislation in Texas to protect Texas children. I have worked with the Texas Education Agency and the State Board of Education to improve curriculum in the state of Texas.
I have served my community through conservative grassroots leadership as a Nueces County Precinct Chair, TFRW District Director, Voter Registrar, volunteer Notary for the GOP, voting clerk, voting judge, and as one of several founders of the Nueces County Election Integrity Project. I have testified before the Texas Legislature on behalf of families, helping pass laws that ended school immunity for protecting abusers, strengthened reporting of juvenile abuse, and required school boards to include members trained in parental rights. My work earned me the national Sybil Ludington Award for raising community awareness.
I am now being called to quit my job as a Field Representative for a U.S. Congressman, for an unpaid elected position so I can further focus on correcting issues in our school districts throughout Texas. I am working on federal legislation to establish a national misconduct database for schools, churches, and camps. Guided by faith and committed to truth, I am running for the Texas State Board of Education to ensure that parents—not government—remain the primary educators and protectors of their children.
