About CJ Grisham:

CJ Grisham brings a wealth of experience and unwavering dedication to his role as Legal & Legislative Counsel for Texas Gun Rights and the Texas Gun Rights Foundation.

A retired U.S. Army First Sergeant and former Counterintelligence Agent, CJ is a combat veteran of Iraq and Afghanistan with a deep understanding of leadership, strategy, and defense of freedom.

As the founder of Open Carry Texas, CJ has been a driving force in the fight to restore and protect the Second Amendment rights of all Texans. His passion for liberty is matched by his legal expertise, which he honed after earning a Juris Masters and Juris Doctor from Appalachian School of Law.

CJ’s practice focuses on defending those whose civil rights have been violated, with an emphasis on 1st and 2nd Amendment protections.

A tireless advocate, CJ combines his military background, legal acumen, and grassroots activism to advance the mission of Texas Gun Rights. His commitment to justice and constitutional principles makes him an invaluable asset to the fight for gun rights in Texas and beyond.

About Michaella Vaughan:
Michaella Vaughan is the Director of Education at Texas Right to Life. Texas Right to Life is Texas’s oldest and largest Pro-Life organization. Texas Right to Life legally, peacefully and prayerfully protects the God-given Right to Life of innocent human beings from fertilization to natural death through legislation, education, and patient advocacy. In college, Michaella was accepted into Texas Right to Life’s Dr. Joseph Graham Fellowship for College Pro-Life Leaders and Student for Life of America’s Christian Leadership Fellowship. In Michaella’s role as Texas Right to Life’s Education Director, she manages the Dr. Joseph Graham Fellowship for Pro-Life College Students, High School Team LIFE Camp, the Convention for Life, and other Pro-Life community efforts and youth leadership programs. Michaella lives in Houston with her husband and their daughter, Lucy.
