About Carlos Turcios:
Tarrant County For Liberty & Justice Director
Tarrant County GOP Executive Committee member
Carlos Turcios is a Tarrant County native, conservative activist, and former investigative journalist who has been on the front lines against the woke Left and DEI ideology since the age of 15. In 2021, he helped lead parents, students, and community activists in a high-profile fight against the Fort Worth ISD Racial Equity Department, organizing major protests that culminated in the dismantling of the department and the resignation of its director, the superintendent, and one of the district’s most radical school board members. His activism drew national attention and was reported by outlets including the Daily Mail, Fox News, and the New York Post.
Following that victory, Turcios expanded his advocacy to county commissioners courts, city councils, and local governments across North Texas. In 2024, he became a central figure in a First Amendment battle after a conservative de-transitioner event he organized was shut down by the City of Fort Worth. The move sparked widespread backlash, and later that year the city ended its anti-discrimination policy for community centers, marking a major free speech victory.
As a former investigative journalist for the Dallas express, Turcios broke stories that reached national and international audiences, including exposing a woke dress code at 24 Hour Fitness, inappropriate exhibits involving minors at the Modern Art Museum, and a bombshell December 2024 report revealing a sitting congresswoman living in a dementia senior care facility. His reporting was cited and covered by outlets such as the New York Post, New York Times, CNN, Infowars, the Daily Mail, and the Daily Wire.
