Please join us at True Texas Project this month as we welcome our speaker, Emily Cook with Pacific Justice Institute. Pacific Justice Institute (PJI) is a nonprofit Christian law firm based in Garden Grove, California. Founded in 1997 by President Brad Dacus, PJI is dedicated to defending religious freedom, free speech, and other fundamental constitutional rights. PJI specializes in First Amendment cases and has represented individuals and organizations across the country in defense of deeply held convictions—advocating for the rights of the unborn, protecting against coerced medical treatments, safeguarding parental rights, promoting education reform, and upholding religious expression. PJI works diligently, without charge, to provide its clients with all the legal support they need. Come hear from Emily as she discusses what PJI is, what they do, specific cases their attorneys are involved in, local battles being waged in Texas, and how YOU can take action and stay in-the-know.
