True Texas Project is growing, and this time it’s to Jefferson/Orange County! For this kickoff we are bringing in former state representative Jonathan Stickland. Jonathan is famous (or infamous, depending on who you ask) for his “Bad Bill of the Week,” and he has a knack for telling it like it is. About Jonathan Stickland:
Jonathan Stickland represented Texas State House District 92 for 8 years from 2012-2020, coming in on the tea party wave — specifically recruited by NE Tarrant Tea Party (now True Texas Project). He quickly became the voice and hero of the people. He supports limited government, transparency, limiting regulation and most importantly the voters, not the lobbies. Jonathan is well-known for killing bad bills by utilizing the back mic during House sessions. He authored the “Bad Bill of the Week,” and he loves to share stories about what happens behind the scenes in the People’s House. As you can imagine, the Establishment hates him.
