This month at True Texas Project, we are hosting one of the most influential faith-based American history organizations – Wallbuilders. Hearing from the Bartons is always time spent learning valuable and eternal truths, so we can’t wait to hear what Tim Barton, the son of historian David Barton, will have to share with us. Wallbuilders is focused on “Presenting America’s forgotten history and heroes with an emphasis on our moral, religious and constitutional heritage.” Come hear the truth about our history, and be inspired by our founders.

We will also have Mark Middleton speaking to us about his experience being arrested for attending the Capitol protest on January 6th.

About Tim Barton:

Timothy Barton is the President of WallBuilders, a national pro-family organization that presents America’s forgotten history and heroes, with an emphasis on our religious, moral, and constitutional heritage. WallBuilders has been recognized from coast-to-coast for its work in education, history, law, and public policy, integrating the elements of Biblical faith and morality throughout all aspects of American life and culture. Tim is an ordained minister and has worked in a variety of church staff positions, including as youth minister, worship leader, and assistant pastor. He now spends countless hours in WallBuilders’ library of tens of thousands of original documents, researching the truth of America’s founding and exposing the lies regarding our history that currently permeate our society. He consults with numerous state and federal legislators on policy and legislation and speaks to a variety of groups across the nation each year.

Tim’s ability to tell the story of America’s past, while helping audiences understand how that connects to the present and what steps should be taken for the future, has inspired audiences nationwide. Tim has been a guest on numerous national television and radio programs including The Ben Shapiro Show, the Glenn Beck Program, Louder With Crowder, TBN, Andrew Wommack Ministries, Believer’s Voice of Victory, Epoch Times, Newsmax, and many others. He is also a writer for the Epoch Times.

Tim graduated from college with a degree in Business Management and a minor in Biblical Studies. During college, he mentored youth, working with local youth groups and serving at an orphanage. He worked for several years as a senior counselor at a large youth camp in Hot Springs, Arkansas. He also served as an athletic director, teacher, and coach at a Christian School in Texas. Regardless of where he is, Tim speaks into the lives of those around him, encouraging them to live passionately and to follow Christ whole-heartedly. Tim lives in Weatherford, Texas, with his wife, Gabi, and daughters, Finley and Phoebe.
