We are always enlightened when we hear from Matt, and can’t wait for what he has to share with us this time!

We will also have the State Director for the Texas chapter of BLEXIT, Raquita Harper, speaking to us about what the foundation stands for and the direction of their movement, plus how you can get involved!

Additionally, we will hear from Jeremy Story regarding his unlawful arrest by the Round Rock ISD school board. He and another father were arrested at their homes several days after they tried to enter a school board meeting and were thrown out.

About Matt Rinaldi:

Matt Rinaldi represented northwest Dallas County in the Texas Legislature from 2015 to 2019.  During his time in office, Rinaldi was consistently rated among the top two most conservative members of the House by Rice University, Texans for Fiscal Responsibility, Young Conservatives of Texas and Texas Eagle Forum.  Rinaldi was, according to the Dallas Morning News, “instrumental in strengthening the punishments in the sanctuary cities ban,” and authored and passed into law measures that: remove from office public officials who adopt sanctuary city policies, require government contractors and subcontractors to use e-verify, revoke pensions of teachers convicted of committing sex crimes against students, allow churches to utilize volunteers to provide security services without risking heavy fines, and prohibit any taxpayer money from going to Planned Parenthood.  He served as the Pro-Life Whip for Texas Right to Life in 2017 and was also named one of the Top 10 Legislators in 2017 by Empower Texans.  Matt attends St. Ann’s Catholic Parish with his wife Corley and son Rush.

About Raquita Harper:

Raquita Harper is a Texas native, raised primarily in Center, Shelby County, Texas. She and her husband Delton happily reside in Beaumont, Texas, where they are the founders of GraceWay Ministries, a discipleship ministry dedicated to bible teaching, Christian mentorship, and grace-based resources to help both the seeker and growing believer develop a true relationship with Christ.

She is also a singer/songwriter, and has released a Christian single titled, “He Finished It” that is available on all streaming platforms.  She’s a REALTOR by trade and is also the State Director for the Texas chapter of the BLEXIT Foundation, an organization dedicated to changing the narrative that surrounds America’s minority communities – with a particular focus on African-Americans. Raquita is also an area leader for Christians Engaged,  an organization that exists to awaken, motivate, educate, and empower ordinary believers in Jesus Christ to pray, vote, and engage. Raquita’s compassion for humanity is what drives her volunteerism as an advocate for racial healing, unity, empowerment, and self-accountability.

Nothing means more to Raquita than to share the love of Jesus Christ, whether in song or in community and civic engagement. She has fully dedicated her life to be the hands and feet of Jesus and has vowed to be salt and light in whatever hat she wears.
